Eternal Family

Our Lord gave a commandment

“Research you family tree.

Find out about your special roots,

Salvation is the key.”

But this will not just happen,

Oft’ we’ve been told before.

It’s up to those of us on earth.

With love, it’s not a chore.

Through diligence and patience

and humble pleading prayer.

Do not let Satan’s efforts

Discourage or despair.

Our families are so very dear;

It’s important that we care.

When we get to the “other side”

We’ll want to meet them there.

Then do the needed temple work,

Do not leave out one soul.

Enjoy that great reunion-

Salvation is the goal.
